Between May and October, this place is a tropical paradise. With average temperatures of 25 - 30 degrees celsius. While Melbourne is cold, Far North Queensland is oozing with warmth and sunshine. This means that you and your friends can fully indulge in all the outdoor activities on offer.

Sydney

Be devoured by the glamour and grandness of Sydney. The largest city of Australia, located in New South Wales which is oozing with multiculturalism. This refined destination is rich with charisma and historical value, with an array of things to do and see!

The best time to visit is between September through November and March to May. These are the shoulders seasons that offer great temperatures and fewer tourists than the high season. September is the driest month and October is usually warm enough to enjoy the beach with an average temperature of 22- 14 degrees.

Explore the city by bike or on foot, take a boat or a train, it’s up to you! Be charmed by the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Go neighbourhood hopping and uncover the unique individual character of each district. Pop into the vibrant Surry Hills or visit the eccentric Newtown, an alternative haven, or visit colourful art galleries in Chippendale.

Brisbane and surrounds

Brisbane and surrounding places are fantastic to visit with your friends at any time of the year. A modern and chilled-out city, it is a shopper’s paradise. Be sure to savour an Aussie brunch in the warm sun. And try the local coffee culture too. If you like, there is plenty of nature nearby too.

The warmest month is January with an average maximum temperature of 29 degrees. June and July are the coldest months, with an average temperature of approximately 21 - 12 degrees celsius. With plenty of sunshine, it is an ideal destination for a holiday with your friends.

Melbourne to Adelaide

The route between Melbourne and Adelaide is an ideal journey together with friends. Best explored between April-October, you’ll enjoy mild temperatures. Along the way, you will find plenty of national parks, coastal roads, islands, vineyards and wildlife.

If you prefer, you can also drive in the opposite direction, from Adelaide to Melbourne. Each drive is approximately two to four hours, which makes it an ideal route. Drive less and see more. We have many fantastic places to stay along the way too. Self-catered and spacious accommodations with the beach as your backyard.

South of Perth

In the south-west corner of Western Australia, you will find a special region. A place where you can admire rolling vineyards, white-sand surf beaches, forests and spectacular coastal scenery. This part of Australia is best visited between October and April. Here, you will find plenty of things to do with your friends.

This region boasts a Mediterranean climate with fewer tourists. An ideal holiday destination with hot and dry summers and mild winters. In winter, there is an average temperature of 16 degrees celsius. In January, the height of summer, the average maximum temperature is 25 degrees celsius.

Get “off the beaten” track in a 4WD. Join an Indigenous tour. Or go and spot native wildlife with a local guide. Take a scenic flight. Sample local wine. Enjoy a glass of world-renowned wine with your friends. Try local truffles and freshly caught crayfish. Marvel at pink lakes and 15-metre high granite rock. And more.

Spread across Australia's entire north-western corner is the Kimberley. Best visited between May and July, this region is perfect for an adventurous group of friends. Swim in natural pools. Get ‘off the beaten’ track in a 4WD. As the wet season has finished (between November and April) and the dry season (between May - October) begins, it is Australia at its purest. The landscape is green with rough nature and wildlife. Conquer long and unpaved roads. If you love waterfalls, May is a perfect time to visit.
