Explore the Poor Knights Islands

A diverse diving and snorkelling paradise is located 23 kilometres off the coast of Tutukaka. Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve is over 11 million years old and is listed as a World Heritage Site. Discover the underwater world and the unique flora and fauna flourishing on the islands.

You will depart from Tutukaka Marina at 11:00 am and return at approximately 4:00 pm. Spend the day jumping off the boat, kayaking, snorkelling, stand up paddleboarding, swimming and spotting marine mammals and seabirds.

Visit sheltered coves and learn about the history of the local Maori that makes the islands so spiritual. The purpose-built multi-deck cruise boat has hot showers and a unique fish camera, to watch the underwater world from the comfort of the boat. All equipment, a buffet lunch and hot drinks are provided.
