Hiking enthusiasts have many tracks to choose from including hiking to the summit of the Rocky Mountain Track for stunning 360-degree views. The crystal clear waters of Lake Wanaka are ideal for fly fishing, boat cruises, jet boating, kayaking and swimming.
In fact, most activities revolve around the picturesque lake with bike tours, vineyards and scenic flights on offer. In winter months, fresh powder can be enjoyed at Treble Cone and Cardrona Ski Resorts. Two of New Zealand’s best ski resorts.
