Clarence River is located on the northeast side of the South Island. At 230 kilometres in length, this natural phenomenon is New Zealand’s eighth-longest river. Flowing through the Clarence Valley, the mighty Clarence River is a natural gem.

Witness first hand how the earthquake in 2016 altered the river, raising one side of the riverbank by 12 metres. The trip takes you through farmland and faultlines before finishing in the Pacific Ocean.
Ben Judge started his rafting company over 20 years ago and over the years has built up a solid team of professional guides. They are passionate about the river and will ensure your trip is full of memories that will last a lifetime.
After a full safety briefing, you will cruise down the bouncy grade 2 river with your experienced guide. There are plenty of spots to jump in for a refreshing swim. All water-rafting equipment will be provided.
