Kapiti Coast stretches along 30 kilometres of coastline, less than an hours drive north of Wellington. An outdoor playground for Wellingtonians, with sandy beaches, wild nature and the gateway of Kapiti Island. Kapiti Island is a predator-free nature reserve, home to a variety of protected native birds, including the kiwi.

Tararua Forest Park forms a striking backdrop and provides ample opportunities to hike, hunt, mountain bike and kayak. Visit the Tuatara Brewery for refreshing New Zealand crafted beers or indulge in the famous Kapiti ice cream or cheese, produced in the region.
